The President of India asks a question at Yahoo Answers
And some well known Indian celebrities & 5000 others respond. A novel
way of reaching ordinary citizens? Considering that he actually reads
the responses, it is quite revolutionary of communicating with Public.

Dr. Kalam rocks!!! I salute him!!

Adios 2006!!!

Hmmmmmmmm yeah it was a very happening year - 2006.
Many things happened.. good and bad, wanted and unwanted, happy and sad, a complete roller coaster ride...
And I am happy and content at the end of it.
It was a year which turned my world upside down and here I am high on LIFE as always.
Its the peace after the storm, when one is happy that it ended and then one is also ready to build a new world as whatever was there is gone with the storm. I can feel that enthusiasm inside me to build that new world and I know I will be successful because I sustained the storm.
This year has made me a strong person and may be I have started understanding life better..
Not that I have understood it completely... but that is not my business anyways... I know I am playing my role well..
I have started understanding Myself... which is more important.
I have felt the love and happiness that I have never felt before... and this time around it was better because I have no expectations whatsoever from anything or anybody.
I have realised that Friends are the most beautiful gift of GOD. Did I say GOD?
GOD - Maybe I am remembering you first time in this year... at the end of it... but believe me I know you were there somewhere around coz I would have not survived the storm without you and your gift (my friends).

I gonna LIVE this moment for now and forever... I have no wishes... no demands....no complaints... no regrets...

Wish you a very very Happy 2007!

Me off to Goa for the New Year's.....bye bye... Meet you next year...

A Lesson of Life

untitled

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the
express purpose of showing him how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.

"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered:
"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added,  "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."
Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

New beginning...

You are my past
I know you are gone
I have no regrets though
I have cherished every moment of you
I have lived you
You were beautiful
You gave me smiles and tears
You gave me love and hatred
You gave me joy and grief
You gave me a reason to be
You made me what I am
But now I have to move on
And now I have to live my present
I have to embrace it the way I had greeted you

Adios then... So long... Rest in peace...
